Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the outside provider that supplies results. Modesto People Search does not retain a separate copy of those searches on its servers. When you contact us, we receive the details you put in the message and use them to answer you.
Automatic Technical Data
Our hosting systems create ordinary logs that can include an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Aggregate log data helps us maintain the service and see which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How We Use Information
Technical and message data is used to operate the site, troubleshoot faults, measure traffic, improve content, and answer inquiries. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to government portals, Stanislaus County and California offices, library resources, and outside search services. Information submitted on a linked service is governed by that service's policy. The same rule applies to sponsored results, which come from a third-party provider.
Parties That Process Data
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. We may disclose data when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor information.
Safeguards and Retention
An encrypted connection protects traffic to the site. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes stated here. Because Modesto People Search has no visitor accounts, it stores no site password or user profile for you.
Visitors Under 18
This service is for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted information, and we will remove it.
Your California Privacy Rights
California law may provide rights to know about, correct, or delete certain personal information. The state's data-broker provisions appear at Civil Code ยงยง 1798.99.80-1798.99.89, and the California Privacy Protection Agency operates the DROP deletion-request platform for active data brokers. Because we hold little visitor data, a request usually involves checking our contact mailbox and server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Records held by Modesto, Stanislaus County, or California agencies remain under the control of those custodians, so requests concerning government records must go to the office that holds them.
